On Friday, the 18.11. at 24.00 there will be a block of movies by the german painter Erik Schmidt at Babylon Mitte.  All shown movies have original music and sounddesign by Max Knoth. “There is no script. All the players in his films must take part in the same unpredictable production process. Schmidt’s beginnings as an artist in Berlin in the 1990s, his early performances and Pop art activities, come out most clearly in this process.” Sonja Claser

“Hapes zauberhafte Weihnachten” with Hape Kerkeling has won the comedians award  Deutscher Comedypreis 2011. Max Knoth wrote a short musical for Kerkeling’s Christmas show.

WortLaut Homestory has won the Deutscher Radiopreis for the best radio format. It is hosted by Jenni Zylka, Max Knoth did editing, sound design and the mix. This format is regularly broadcasted by WDR3. The award ceremony took place in Hamburg on 08.09.2011.

On Sunday, the 17.07. at 14:15 on 3sat. A documentary about the double agent Klaus Kuron with music by Max Knoth. Kuron was a german spy during the cold war. He also started working as a spy for the GDR. Thomas Knauf (Die Architekten, 1990) shot this documentary on location with Kuron himself.

Mobylettes will perform two songs on TV 13./14.7., 8.30h at ZDF Morgenmagazin. This year they released their fourth album “Immer schlimmer” on Tapete Records. Max Knoth played bass and made arrangements for the recordings. A video for the title track was shot in spring 2011.

Preparation of a radioplay. The Berlin based performance collective She She Pop is planning a radioplay of their awarded performance-play. Max Knoth does the editing, sound design and new music.
